Why are we doing this?
District Triathlon (DT) has partnered with Mayor Muriel Bowser and DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) to host a 2018 Run/Walk event on 8/18/2018. The event is funded through Mayor Bowser’s FITDC Initiative.
District Triathlon’s unsanctioned Splash and Dash Event promotes an active lifestyle in a community setting. This race is a short course, duathlon(swim/run) event hosted in a safe space for all ability levels. Participants can use any swim stroke, grab the wall, stand up, and/or take a break
