Chocolate City Criterium 2026

Chocolate City Criterium (CCC) is Washington, DC's premier criterium and race-day festival, combining USA Cycling-sanctioned racing, DC championship fi elds, local culture, community partners, music, vendors, and the Legacy Loop 5K at The Fields at RFK Campus. CCC began in 2024 and returns in 2026 for its third edition. The event honors DC's historic Chocolate City identity while creating more accessible racing opportunities for juniors, women, BIPOC riders, LGBTQ+ athletes, novice racers, and the broader cycling community. The central story is simple: championship racing for the District, MABRA category championship stakes, Road Series implications, strong community partners, and a race environment that feels unmistakably DC.
